Who we are
localocare is in preview: it sells nothing and stores no personal data yet. The operator’s name, address and contact email appear here before the launch.
What we collect, and why
- Free check: the business name and country you type. We look up that business in public Google Maps data. Your IP address is stored only as a salted hash, to limit checks per day.
- Account: your email address, to send login links and the weekly email. A session cookie keeps you logged in.
- Payments: Stripe processes card payments. We never see or store your card number.
- Your business data: public Google Maps data about your business and your competitors (rankings, reviews, profile fields).
Who processes data for us
- DataForSEO — Google Maps search results and public profile data.
- Anthropic — AI writes fix plans, descriptions and reply drafts from your public profile data.
- Resend — sends login links and emails.
- Stripe — payments.
- Google Fonts — the fonts on this site load from Google, which receives your IP address.
We do not sell data, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Cookies and browser storage
One session cookie when you log in (HttpOnly, needed for the account). The browser also stores small settings, such as your last search, on your device.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account and its data. You can also complain to your data protection authority. Write to the contact above.
Preview
While localocare is in preview, the site runs on sample data: there are no accounts, no emails and no payments, and the free check shows a sample result.
